Paid parking
In most shopping malls, buildings, or some public parking places, you need to pay for parking your vehicle. There are various car park payment systems in Singapore, however, most of them would involve using Cash Card/ Autopass Card or even a Cash Card/Autopass Card inserted in an In-Vehicle Unit (IU) to make payment for parking charges. If your bike doesn’t provide the IU, it still has some cash collection systems to support or you can push the “Help” button at the entrance to get further assistance.
Season parking
Season parking can be applied to only residents or staff who park their vehicles near their homes or workplaces. To use for season parking, you need to prepare documents for verification such as a business registration certificate, Letter from Company, or a Letter from a taxi organization. You can easily submit a season parking application via e-service HDB’s e-service or mobile app.
Free parking place
There are some free parking places in Singapore but it has limited time. You can check some free parking places bellows:
Esplanade
- Mon-Fri: 12 pm to 3 pm
- Mon-Fri: 6 pm to 10 pm
Mustafa Centre
- Mon-Fri: First hour free daily
- $1 for the next subsequent 30 minutes thereafter
OUE Downtown/Downtown Gallery
- With a minimum spending of $10, you get free parking:
- Mon-Fri: after 5 pm
- Sat, Sun & PH: all-day
- Limited to 30 redemptions per day
Clarke Quay
- Mon-Fri: 12:30 pm to 1:29 pm
- Mon-Fri: 6 pm to 7 pm
Gillman Barracks
- Mon-Fri: 5 pm to 8:30 am
- Sat, Sun & PH: 8:30 am to 8:30 am the next day
Jurong Point
- Mon-Thu, excluding PH: 12 pm to 2 pm
